WFMW: Snow shoveling tip

Snowpocalypse 2010 continues. After 2 days of 2-hour delay school days, we’re now closed again. They’re calling for 6-12″ of snow again today. This morning, I spent an hour shoveling 4″ of snow off my driveway.

Last week when I was shoveling, I remembered a little tip I’d heard somewhere: before you begin shoveling snow, spray your snow shovel with cooking spray. That’s right…it keeps the snow from sticking to the shovel, making every shovelful a full one. Which counts for something when there’s 30+ inches of snow on the ground!

Great tip! We’ve had a snowpocalypse here too. Hopefully this will help make digging my car out much easier.
