Hello world!

I’ve been ruminating for a while about starting a blog. Why should I? Would anyone care what I’ve got to say? Isn’t it the height of self-absorption?

Well, the reason I decided to jump in is because I figure there have to be more people out there in the same boat that I am: sandwiched between my kids and my aging parents. Trying to manage everything often feels like spinning plates, and every so often a few crash down around my ears. I gotta think that’d be worth a few laughs.

Also, it’s cheaper than therapy. Which I hope to quit soon.

Maybe I should just direct my therapist to my blog. Save me an hour of my life and a $20 co-pay.
